Job summary

RRECRUITER PTE. LTD. in Singapore invites a Quantity Surveyor to oversee tender submissions, from material take-offs to Bills of Quantities.

You will perform costing and market benchmarking, sourcing vendor quotes, and engage clients and site teams through feasibility studies and tender walk-throughs.

Qualifications

• Diploma level qualification in QS or related field
• 2–5 years of QS/tendering experience in Singapore
• Experience with A1 main contractors or major subcontractors in Singapore preferable

Responsibilities

• Tender & BOQ preparation: execute material take-offs, prepare Bills of Quantities, and build tender submission packages
• Costing & Market Benchmark: source vendor quotes, generate cost analyses, and maintain market rate databases for pricing
• Client & Site Engagement: conduct feasibility studies and attend site tender walks, clarification meetings, and presentations

Key Responsibilities

• Tender & BOQ Preparation: Execute material quantity take-offs, prepare Bills of Quantities, and build comprehensive tender submission packages.

• Costing & Market Benchmark: Source vendor quotes, generate cost comparison analyses, and maintain up-to-date market rate databases for material and labor pricing.

• Client & Site Engagement: Conduct client-requested feasibility studies and attend mandatory site tender walk-throughs, clarification meetings, and interview presentations.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: Minimum Diploma holder (Quantity Surveying, Civil/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or related field)

• Experience: 2–5 years of relevant QS/tendering experience in Singapore

• Preferred Background: Experience with A1 main contractors or major subcontractors in Singapore
