Job summary

dsm-firmenich in Singapore is seeking a Senior Technician, QC, PE to support day-to-day quality control in a fast-moving flavor and fragrance environment. You will perform analytical tasks, test incoming materials and finished products, and maintain accurate lab records.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology or Biochemistry preferred.
• Minimum 3–5 years process improvement experience in flavor and fragrance industry is advantageous.
• Ability to operate & troubleshoot laboratory equipment.
• Strong knowledge of safety procedures, GMPs and quality control standards.
• Experience handling GC, LCMS, GCMS is an added advantage; maintain records.

Responsibilities

• Perform independent, complex laboratory analyses and sample preparation.
• Test incoming materials and finished products and approve within required timelines.
• Identify and troubleshoot common issues in the lab.
• Manage stock of lab supplies and raw materials; maintain organized lab area.
• Operate standard equipment and ensure SHE compliance; support safety improvements.
• Adhere to policies including GMP, ISO 9001/14001/45001 and workplace safety protocols.
