Job summary

Sensetac Pte Ltd is seeking a Laboratory Assistant to support quality and operational activities in a dynamic lab environment in Singapore. You will prepare test solutions, perform routine chemical tests and titrations, and operate lab equipment following described procedures for quality and product development.

The role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong teamwork, and the ability to work independently in an aromatic environment.

Qualifications

• Possess a Higher Nitec / Diploma in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Science, Food Science, Material Science or related.
• Meticulous, with good organizational skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Able to work well independently and in a team.
• Comfortable working in an aromatic environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide support in quality and operational related activities.
• Prepare solutions for tests and processes.
• Perform routine laboratory testing chemical tests, titrations, site sample collection, qualitative and quantitative testing of materials.
• Operates laboratory equipment and instruments to perform laboratory tests according to described procedures for determining the chemical or physical characteristics as quality control, process control and/or product development.
• Assist in research on regulatory and industry compliance standards.
• Carry out routine calibration and checks, and ensure instruments are in working order.
• Perform laboratory housekeeping.
• Maintain proper records of standards, tests procedures, laboratory equipment usage.
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
