Job summary

DSM-Firmenich AG in Singapore is seeking a Senior Technician, QC, PE to support day-to-day QC operations at our Tuas site. You will perform complex lab tasks, test incoming materials and finished products, and ensure timely product approvals while troubleshooting issues and maintaining safety practices.

Key responsibilities include equipment operation, stock management, and strict adherence to GMP and ISO standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology or Biochemistry is preferred.
• Minimum 3–5 years process improvement experience in the flavor and fragrance industry is advantageous.
• Ability to operate and troubleshoot laboratory equipment.
• Strong knowledge of safety procedures, GMPs and quality control standards.
• Experience with GC, LCMS, GCMS is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex, routine, and non-routine laboratory activities including analytical tasks and sample preparation.
• Test incoming materials and finished products and approve the product within required timeframes.
• Identify and troubleshoot common problems and issues encountered.
• Manage stock of lab supplies and raw materials; maintain organized lab workspace.
• Ensure adherence to SHE procedures and company policies including GMP/ISO standards.
