Job summary

CHINA CONSTRUCTION (SOUTH PACIFIC) DEVELOPMENT CO. PTE. LTD. seeks an experienced Senior QAQC Engineer to lead quality assurance on A1 main construction projects in Singapore.

You will conduct daily QA/QC checks, prepare monthly reports, and train sub-contractors on quality practices. Strong communication, analytical skills, and independence are essential. Qualifications

• Architectural- or structural-trained work experience.
• Min 5 years experience as a Senior QAQC Engineer in A1 building main construction company (significant advantage if managing Quality Marks assessments or certifications).
• Able to communicate effectively and clearly.
• Capable of independent work, meticulous, analytical with strong problem-solving skills, and able to meet tight deadlines.
• Good knowledge of construction quality control/assurance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct QAQC daily checks.
• Prepare monthly QAQC report for submission to Corporate QAQC Department.
• Conduct monthly QAQC Training to Sub-contractors.
• Issuance of QAQC Non-compliance to sub-contractors.
• Attend monthly QAQC presentation and meeting at Corporate QAQC Department.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure works comply with method statements (in accordance to BCA’s Good Industry Practice & approval from the clients and consultants).
• Arrange and liaise with BCA for CONQUAS/QM assessments; act as the primary quality liaison with clients and consultants, updating them on QA/QC matters and addressing quality concerns directly related to CONQUAS scoring.
• Work closely with site engineers and supervisors to ensure construction methods comply with CONQUAS specifications, providing guidance on quality protocols and rectifications or conducting relevant training as needed.

• -Able to work independently, be meticulous, analytical with excellent problem-solving skills, proactive & able to meet tight deadlines
• -Good knowledge of construction quality control/assurance is necessary
• -Certifications: BCA-Approved CONQUAS training or relevant quality certification such as ISO 9001:2015 in Quality Management Systems.
• -Candidates with condominium project experience will have an advantage.
