Job summary

ASM is seeking a Senior QA Engineer in Singapore to join the Software Engineering team, delivering software that controls semiconductor processing equipment hardware. You will design, automate, and maintain test suites for CI/CD integrated software and collaborate with the engineering teams on quality.

The role requires 5+ years in software development or test automation, hands-on QA in electromechanical environments, scripting in Python, C++, or C#, and familiarity with Jira/Confluence and Git.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software development, software testing or test automation.
• Hands-on QA experience in electromechanical equipment manufacturing environments or high-tech equipment environments.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for interacting with senior leadership and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, document, and improve software test suites.
• Perform manual and automated testing of software in simulation and on hardware.
• Automate QA processes to integrate with CI/CD workflows.
• Create and manage test plans and test cases for thorough validation of enhancements and fixes.
• Coordinate with Process Engineering to validate system performance and quality.
