Job summary

NEXBRIDGE RECRUITMENT PTE. LTD. is seeking a QA Engineer with strong hands-on manual testing and test automation skills. The role focuses on delivering quality across web, mobile and enterprise apps, with a strong emphasis on adopting AI tools to enhance productivity, coverage, and documentation.

The ideal candidate will design test plans, execute diverse testing types, and collaborate with Developers, BAs, POs and stakeholders to resolve issues while advancing QA processes and standards.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in manual testing and test case design.

• Knowledge of SDLC, STLC, Agile and defect management.
• Experience in UAT and stakeholder communication.
• Understanding of performance testing concepts.
• Basic security testing knowledge (OWASP).
• AI tools in QA/testing experience is valued.
• Strong English communication.

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria to identify test scope and risks.
• Prepare test plans, test scenarios, test cases, test data and test reports.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, smoke, sanity and performance testing.
• Conduct defect reporting, tracking, retesting and closure.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using PyTest, Selenium, Playwright, Appium or similar.
• Support UAT planning and execution, including preparing UAT scripts and coordinating with users.
• Work closely with Developers, Business Analysts, Product Owners and stakeholders to resolve quality issues.

About the Role

We are looking for a QA Engineer with strong hands-on experience in manual testing and test automation. The role will be responsible for ensuring software quality across web, mobile and enterprise applications.

A key focus of this position is the use of AI tools to improve testing productivity, test coverage, automation and documentation. Candidates who are comfortable adopting AI into their daily QA workflow will be highly valued.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria to identify test scope and risks.


• Prepare test plans, test scenarios, test cases, test data and test reports.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience in manual testing and test case design.


• Good experience in functional and regression testing for web and/or mobile applications.


• Experience with test automation tools/frameworks such as PyTest, Selenium, Playwright, Appium or equivalent.


• Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile and defect management.


• Experience in UAT and stakeholder communication.


• Working knowledge of performance testing concepts.


• Basic understanding of security testing and OWASP concepts.


• Hands-on experience using AI tools for QA/testing is highly valued.


• Good English communication skills.


• Diploma/Degree in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or related disciplines.

AI Skills We Are Looking For

Candidates should be comfortable using AI tools to improve their QA workflow, such as:

• Generating and refining test cases


• Creating or improving automation scripts


• Debugging and understanding test code


• Analysing defects and test results


• Generating test data


• Preparing test documentation and reports

Preferred

• ISTQB certification or equivalent QA certification.


• Relevant training/certification in Selenium, Playwright, Appium or PyTest.


• Basic Cloud, DevOps or CI/CD knowledge.


• AI / prompt engineering / AI-assisted testing certification or practical training.
