Job summary

MARQUESS SERVICES PTE. LTD. is seeking a Senior Python Developer / Technical Lead to drive the design, development and delivery of AML/KYC applications and banking process automation solutions. The successful candidate will architect solutions and lead end-to-end delivery across teams.

You will work with stakeholders, architects and engineers to build scalable, secure systems supporting regulatory compliance and banking operations, focusing on Python, Django and modern frontend tech.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field required.
• Minimum 8-10 years in hands-on software development, enterprise or banking environments.
• Strong expertise in Python development, Django and REST API frameworks.
• Front-end experience with React, JavaScript, CSS/SCSS.
• Experience designing enterprise-scale, highly available applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical requirement gathering, solution design, system architecture and implementation for complex banking applications.
• Drive development of Python-based full-stack apps using Django and REST APIs.
• Design scalable backend services and frontend apps using React and CSS/SCSS.
• Lead integrations using APIs, MQ, microservices and high-volume batch processing.
• Oversee database design and SQL development with MS SQL/Oracle; optimise queries.
• Ensure architecture aligns with standards and roadmaps; promote best practices.
