MARQUESS SERVICES PTE. LTD. is seeking a Python Developer to join a banking technology project focused on AML/KYC applications and process automation. You will work with experienced developers to build and maintain Python-based apps that improve operational efficiency and regulatory compliance.

You will contribute to backend development with Django/REST, support frontend tasks, and assist with API integrations and database work. Collaboration with analysts, QA, and senior staff is essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Software Engineering or related discipline.
• 1–5 years of relevant software development experience.
• Proficient in Python and basic to intermediate programming.
• Familiar with Django/Flask or other Python backend frameworks.
• Experience with REST API development and integration.

Responsabilités

• Gather and analyse requirements for application development and process automation.
• Develop and maintain Python-based applications using Django and REST APIs.
• Support frontend work using React, JavaScript, CSS/SCSS.
• Build API integrations and connect banking systems.
• Write SQL queries and perform basic optimisation with MS SQL or Oracle.
• Participate in testing, debugging and production support.
• Assist deployment, releases and maintenance; follow SDLC processes.
• Collaborate with analysts, QA, senior developers and stakeholders.
• Prepare documentation and contribute to continuous improvement.
