Job summary

GAMMON PTE. LIMITED in Singapore seeks a qualified Quantity Surveyor to manage cost control, tendering, and subcontract administration for major RC works and MRT/depot projects. The role emphasizes accuracy in budgeting and claims assessment.

You will prepare budgets, review quotations, and liaise with project stakeholders to support timely progress claims. Knowledge of PSSCOC/REDAS/SIA forms is preferred; candidates with 3–6 years of relevant experience are desired, with senior consideration

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or related disciplines as listed.
• 3–6 years of experience in a similar position in construction.
• Senior level considered for more experienced candidates.
• Knowledge of PSSCOC and/or REDAS and/or SIA standard forms of contracts.
• Meticulous, analytical with an eye for detail and a good team player.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Take off and measurement of quantities and establish detailed BOQ.
• Source, review and negotiate quotations.
• Coordinate with internal and external project stakeholders.
• Attend project meetings including site walks for progress claims evaluation.
• Budget control and monthly financial budget reports (senior level).
• Prepare RFQ subcontract tender documents and perform cost comparisons.
• Sub-contract administration including contractual documentation and disputes.
• Assess and respond to subcontractor monthly progress claims, final accounts and variations.
