Job description
Main function:
  • Project Management Lead: Taking the Project management Lead of Company’s products and solutions in compliance with customer specifications and deliverables resulting in direct revenue for the company and sustainable customer satisfaction.
Purpose of the role:
  • Lead and manage all complex projects from order to delivery on customer site in order to secure price agreements, profitability margins, agreed time schedules and quality meeting customer expectations and in compliance with the business policies and strategy.
The Role:
  • Report to Operations Director.
  • Lead and manage major/complex projects from order to delivery at customer site.
  • Lead and manage the project deliverables.
  • Establish a project plan in compliance with project management methodologies.
  • Be a single point of contact for the customer and internal team.
  • Monitor the scheduling, process and delivery time of the production process.
  • Confers with managers, customers and others to discuss the project status and to modify contract schedules on time when necessary.
  • Reviews contracts to determine what documentation is required for each phase of the project.
  • Manage an on time and accurate variation order in coordination with the responsible Account/Sales Manager and Field Application Engineer and the MDSC team for final approval.
  • Manage completion of the project deliverables, including placing order for all materials, delivery of commissioning and installation services, progressing of PO, completion of documents, shipping requirements and invoicing.
  • Checking drawings and technical specifications, ensure complete order files.
  • Coordinate with Service & Installation for commissioning and services, with purchasing to ensure on time delivery of material, with manufacturing to ensure production in compliance with scheduled timelines, with finance to ensure on time invoicing in accordance with agreed prices and margins.
  • Continues inform customer about the status of production, make sure that changes in time schedules (delivery times) or prices are communicated and adjusted on time when necessary.

Education, Knowledge and Working Experience:
  • Candidates MUST possess either a Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or Power Engineering.
  • Candidates who possess Project Management Certification will be an added advantage.
  • At least 6 years of experience in Project Management within Electrical Engineering or Power Engineering environment.
  • Basic understanding of commercial/contract law.
  • Good understanding of a project P&L and cash flow.
  • Good basic knowledge of electrical engineering processes.
  • Fluent in English.
