Job summary

PUB, The National Water Agency, is seeking a Project Manager to lead tenders and contracts for the Water Reclamation (Network) Development Renewal Branch. You will ensure safe, timely delivery of used water projects and adherence to budgets and specifications.

You will coordinate with consultants and contractors, oversee construction with safety and environmental controls, and manage contract claims and progress to keep projects on schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in project management.
• Knowledge of structural and geotechnical analysis.
• Knowledge of structural concrete, steel and geotechnical design to Eurocode.
• Knowledge of Public Sector Conditions of Contract and preparation of tender docs.
• Independent, result oriented and self-driven team player with good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement, procure, administer and manage tenders and contracts to ensure safe, timely delivery of used water projects for PUB.
• Prepare tender documents in accordance with codes of practice, technical requirements and procurement guidelines.
• Coordinate with consultants/contractors and obtain approvals from stakeholders for project implementation.
• Oversee construction works ensuring safety, services protection and environmental controls.
• Resolve technical/construction issues with consultants/contractors to keep projects on timeline.
• Assess progress claims and variations as per contract guidelines/specifications.
• Make budget projections and ensure expenditures stay within plan costs.
• Address and resolve public and stakeholder feedback to ensure smooth project delivery.
