Job summary

The Public Service Division—Within PUB's Water Reclamation (Network) Department’s Project Management Division, Network Development Renewal Branch—is seeking a Civil Engineer with project management experience to lead tendering, contract administration, and coordination with consultants and contractors. You will oversee safety, environmental controls, and timely delivery of used water projects for PUB.

Applicants should have knowledge of Eurocode-based structural and geotechnical design, as well

Qualifications

Bachelor in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
Experience in project management.
Knowledge of structural and geotechnical analysis.
Knowledge of structural concrete, steel and geotechnical design to Eurocode.
Knowledge of Public Sector Conditions of Contract and experience in the preparation of specifications and other tender documentation for projects preferred.
Independent, result oriented and self-driven team player with good communication skills.

Responsibilities

Implement, procure, administer and manage tenders and contracts for PUB projects.
Prepare tenders in line with codes of practice and procurement guidelines.
Coordinate with consultants/contractors and obtain stakeholder approvals.
Oversee construction works ensuring safety, protection, and environmental controls.
Resolve construction issues to keep projects on schedule.
Assess progress claims and variations per contract guidelines.
Make budget projections and ensure expenditures meet plan costs.
Address public and stakeholder feedback professionally for smooth project delivery.
