The role focuses on end-to-end project delivery within Payments, SWIFT and Cash Management, coordinating with product owners, security, and compliance to drive successful releases and governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT or related field and strong project management experience.
• Minimum 5 years of PM and Agile delivery experience in Banking IT with stakeholder communication.
• Knowledge of regulatory and tax reporting topics (AEOI/CRS, FATCA, IRS871m) preferred.
• Experience with Transactions, market data, and reporting systems.
• Familiarity with core banking and front office applications.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end project objectives, aligning with business commitments.
• Lead committees, coordinate delivery, estimations and schedules.
• Prepare and consolidate estimates and project plans.
• Control project cost and prevent drift within budget.
• Plan resourcing and capacity to meet project needs.
• Collaborate with product owners and cross-functional teams (security, architects, compliance).
• Gather high-level requirements and translate into actionable tasks.
• Review SIT strategy, test cases and results with QA teams.
• Support UAT and issue resolution with users and BAs.
• Manage vendor relations and monitor costs and offers.
• Ensure release plans are transparent and adapt to changes.
• Assist stakeholders in diagnosing issues and finding solutions.
• Contribute to WMIS governance, Secure Agile or SDLC frameworks.

We are seeking for a Senior Project Manager to be part of the dynamic support organization responsible to support a full range of applications and to ensure a stable and resilient production environment for the business and operations.

The Cash Management Control Tower Department is responsible for:

• Steering the quality of STP production for the entire Client’s Group in the scope of Payments, SWIFT and Cash Management.
• Supervising the end-to-end transmission of flows through the SWIFT, Payments and Cash infrastructures, on behalf of all the entities of the Client.
• Monitoring the flow of sensitive clients from the Cash Management Business Line
• Ensuring the sponsorship of monitoring and repair tools.

Our Client, which operates the largest SWIFT Hub in the world, is the leading player in the SWIFTNet activity for Corporate clients, and one of the top three European Cash Management actors.

Main Responsibilities

• Ensures end-to-end responsibility for achieving the program / project objectives in accordance with commitments made by the business line.
• Facilitate committees and work closely with the project team to deliver the project deliverables, prioritization, estimations, and planning.
• Prepares, consolidates, and validates estimates and schedules throughout the project.
• Maintain project cost without any major drift in overall project costing till end of project. Challenge user needs and provide best optimum solution within budget and capacity.
• Planning of resourcing and capacity based on project needs.
• Creates partnership with product owners, stakeholders, and transversal teams (security, solution architects, compliance)
• Assist the project team in gathering the high-level business requirements from the end users and manage GFS
• Walkthrough of the GFS to BAs who will translate it into DFS.
• Perform analysis with squad BA and with other applications squads/teams when involved in multi-systems features and interfaces.
• Work with the BA and testing team to review SIT strategy, test cases and results to ensure quality of delivery.
• Support UAT with users and BAs (reproduce issues, monitoring, fixing with the team).
• Vendor management along with tracking maintenance costs, budgets, and offers.
• Ensure coherent of the tasks and commitment based on release and functionality of overall product.
• Understand the impediments/blockers faced by the team and help the team to remove as much as possible.
• Recognizes typical as well as complex and unusual issues, and actions needed to advance the decision-making process. Recommends possible solutions.
• Assists stakeholders in diagnosing problems and recognizing issues. Takes time to help them identify critical connections, consequences, and alternatives. Recognizes successful adaptations.
• Contributes & ensures compliance to WMIS governance, Secure Agile or SDLC frameworks.
• Provide regular update/ reporting to his/her Division Manager/Domain Heads
• Manage the release planning and management of the deliveries and update necessary tools required. Ensure transparency and adapts plans when changes occur. Prioritizes tasks based on importance.
• Manage Global Program / Project Steering committee with senior management.
• Able to multi-task and work on multiple projects if required.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Project Management and Agile Development Model in Banking IT, Good Stakeholder communication.
• Good to have knowledge on Regulatory AND Tax Reporting with experience on any of the given topics: Tax Regulatory, Performance topics, German Tax reporting, Client Tax Statement Reporting, AEOI/CRS, FATCA, IRS871m.
• Good to have knowledge of Transactions (Corporate Actions, Securities in particular).
• Good to have knowledge on Market data providers (i.e., SIX, WmDaten and similar providers).
• Good to have knowledge on Reporting systems (i.e., SECTRAS, EasyTax, FiTax or similar applications).
• Basic Knowledge on Standard Core Banking systems (i.e., Olympic, TRANSACT, Corporate Actions Systems).
• Basic Knowledge on Front Office applications (i.e., AAA ordering Tools, Client Management Tools).
• Excellent communication skills, able to spearhead Steering Committees and engage with end users and stakeholders at various levels.
• Excellent knowledge on project planning, budgeting/estimations and conducting negotiations / arbitrations.
• Good understanding of project lifecycle and experience in functional and technical specification
• Highly analytical, able to investigate, troubleshoot and determine issues at root cause.
