Job summary

Optimum Solutions Pte Ltd is seeking an ACBS SME to lead the commercial lending product stream within a Singapore-based core banking transformation. You will own requirement analysis and the To-Be design for loan origination, servicing, disbursement, and repayment, working directly with product vendors to validate and finalize solution design.

You will drive interfaces with GL and reconciliation systems, participate in workshops with stakeholders, and own ISDs/functional and technical designs

Qualifications

• Hands-on ACBS implementation within core banking transformation.
• Strong knowledge of commercial lending lifecycle: origination, servicing, disbursement, repayment.
• Experience defining lending interfaces with GL and accounting/reconciliation systems.
• 10+ years of IT experience in core banking transformation/implementation programs.
• Hands-on contributor capable of driving solutioning, documentation, and approvals.

Responsibilities

• Analyze lending requirements and support design for loan origination, servicing, disbursement, and repayment on ACBS.
• Support integration design between ACBS and upstream/downstream systems, including GL posting and reconciliation and payment rails.
• Act as SME for the product/module during requirement analysis, design, build, testing, and cutover phases.
• Engage with product vendors to clarify capability, configurations, gaps, and constraints and drive To-Be design decisions.
• Lead or contribute to workshops with business stakeholders, interface teams, Solution Architecture, and platform vendors.
• Prepare Interface Specification Documents and drive sign-off with upstream/downstream teams.
• Support design for integrating the platform with external applications via MQ, REST/SOAP APIs, and file-based interfaces.
• Support SIT/UAT planning and defect triage with vendor and delivery teams.
• Support data mapping, migration validation, and reconciliation activities relevant to the module.
• Support cutover planning and hypercare through go-live.
• Manage stakeholders across business, technology, and vendor teams and elevate risks proactively.

Job description

We are looking for an ACBS SME to support a core banking transformation program for a client based in the Singapore. The SME will own the commercial lending product stream (ACBS), driving requirement analysis and To-Be solution design for loan origination, servicing, disbursement, and repayment.

This is a core banking implementation role. The candidate must have hands-on, end-to-end experience delivering core banking transformation programs (not advisory-only exposure), and must be comfortable working directly with product vendors to challenge, validate, and finalize the To-Be system design.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze lending requirements and support solution design for loan origination, servicing, disbursement, and repayment processes on ACBS.
• Support integration design between ACBS and upstream/downstream systems, including GL posting and reconciliation, and payment/disbursement rails.
• Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for the product/module during requirement analysis, solution design, build, testing, and cutover phases of the core banking implementation.
• Engage directly with product vendors to clarify product capability, configuration options, gaps, and constraints, and drive decisions on the To-Be system design.
• Lead and/or contribute to workshops with business stakeholders, interface teams, the Solution Architecture team, and platform vendors to gather and validate requirements.
• Prepare and own Interface Specification Documents (ISDs)/functional and technical design documents, and drive review sign-off with upstream and downstream teams.
• Support solution design for integrating the platform with upstream and downstream applications via MQ, REST/SOAP APIs, and file-based interfaces.
• Support SIT/UAT test planning and execution, triage integration defects, and drive resolution with the vendor and delivery teams.
• Support data mapping, migration validation, and reconciliation activities relevant to the module.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Hands-on ACBS (Advanced Commercial Banking System) implementation experience within a core banking transformation program.
• Strong functional knowledge of commercial lending lifecycle: origination, servicing, disbursement, and repayment.
• Experience defining lending interfaces with GL and accounting/reconciliation systems.
• 10+ years of overall IT experience, with substantial hands-on experience in core banking transformation/implementation programs.
• Proven experience working as an individual contributor who can independently drive solutioning, documentation, and approvals, this is a hands-on role, not a purely supervisory one.
• Strong stakeholder management skills; able to work with business teams, interface/platform teams, and Solution Architecture teams.
• Experience preparing and obtaining sign-off on Interface Specification Documents (ISDs) and integration design artifacts.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting solution options to senior stakeholders and vendors.
