Job summary

Manulife is seeking a CPMO Project Manager to execute technical and business projects across multiple stakeholders. You will drive Agile delivery, define scope, budget, and strategy, and coordinate cross‑functional teams across geographies to meet business objectives.

The role requires Java/Angular/DevOps experience, strong stakeholder engagement, and the ability to lead delivery across onshore/offshore models for global clients in a complex environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field with proven track record managing large-scale projects.
• Insurance project delivery experience and strong business acumen in insurance/finance domains.
• Hands-on experience with Java, Angular, DevOps, microservices, and cloud-native solutions.
• Familiarity with Generative AI concepts and integrating GenAI into delivery processes.
• Deep understanding of Agile methodologies and cross‑region delivery for global clients.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end project delivery from initiation to closure within scope, schedule and budget.
• Lead cross-functional, distributed teams across geographies and time zones.
• Track progress, manage risks and report delivery metrics.
• Champion Agile practices, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and CI/CD.
• Collaborate with business, operations, transformation and technology stakeholders.
• Align regional solutions with enterprise architecture and compliance standards.
• Coach teams to foster high performance and continuous improvement.
