Job summary

Unknown Client in Singapore seeks a Senior Project Manager to oversee the full lifecycle of a major construction project, from pre-construction to handover. You will be accountable for safety, environmental compliance, quality, programme, cost, and contractual obligations, leading multidisciplinary teams to deliver safely, on schedule, and within budget.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• 15–20 years of construction experience with senior project management experience.
• Proven track record delivering two large-scale projects with contracts > S$300 million.
• Experience across building, mixed-use, institutional, healthcare, commercial, industrial or infrastructure developments.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, project controls, procurement, risk and cost management.

Responsibilities

• Lead overall planning, execution and delivery of the assigned construction project.
• Manage project teams including PMs, engineers, consultants, subcontractors and site personnel.
• Develop and implement execution plans, methodologies and delivery programmes.
• Monitor progress, milestones, and contractual obligations.
• Drive safety culture and compliance with environmental and safety requirements.
• Oversee QA/QC to meet specifications and client expectations.
• Manage budgets, forecasting, procurement, cost control and contract administration.
• Identify and mitigate project, commercial, technical, programme and operational risks.
• Maintain relationships with clients, authorities, and stakeholders.
• Ensure permits and approvals are obtained on time.
• Provide regular reporting on safety, quality, programme, cost and risk.
• Lead testing, commissioning, handover and closeout.
• Support tender reviews and pre-construction planning.

Job Summary

The Senior Project Manager will oversee the complete lifecycle of a major construction project, from pre-construction to handover. This role is accountable for project performance across safety, environmental compliance, quality, programme, cost, and contractual obligations. The successful candidate will lead multidisciplinary teams to ensure project delivery safely, on schedule, within budget, and to required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the overall planning, execution and delivery of the assigned construction project.
• Manage project teams comprising project managers, engineers, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and site personnel.
• Develop and implement project execution plans, construction methodologies, resource strategies and delivery programmes.
• Monitor project progress, milestones, deliverables and contractual obligations.
• Drive a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with workplace safety, environmental and project-specific requirements.
• Oversee quality assurance and quality control processes to ensure compliance with specifications, standards and client expectations.
• Manage project budgets, forecasting, procurement, cost control, contract administration and variation management.
• Identify and mitigate project, commercial, technical, programme and operational risks.
• Maintain effective relationships with clients, consultants, authorities, utility agencies and other key stakeholders.
• Ensure statutory approvals, permits, inspections and authority requirements are obtained on time.
• Provide regular reporting on safety, quality, programme, cost, risks and overall project performance.
• Lead testing, commissioning, handover, defect management and project closeout activities.
• Support tender reviews, constructability assessments and pre‑construction planning where required.

Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Management, Building or a related discipline.
• Approximately 15–20 years of relevant construction experience, including significant experience in project management and senior site leadership.
• Proven track record of delivering at least two large‑scale construction projects with individual contract values above S$300 million.
• Experience delivering major building, mixed‑use, institutional, healthcare, commercial, industrial or infrastructure developments.
