Job summary

The People's Association is seeking an Assistant Director (Building) to lead planning, design, and construction management for Community Club/Centre projects. You will drive delivery excellence across the full lifecycle, mentor a team of project managers, and ensure governance, cost management, and safety standards are upheld to deliver resilient community spaces.

Qualifications

• Professional certification in architecture, building or project management or engineering or equivalent.
• Tier 2 Lead certification from Digital Delivery Management (DDM) or equivalent recognised by PA.

Responsibilities

• Lead the full project lifecycle from planning to handover for Community Club/Centre projects and related PA development works.
• Review building designs with stakeholders and coordinate with co-locating partners to meet residents' needs.
• Lead and grow the project team, building technical capabilities and people management skills.
• Monitor project status and provide timely progress updates to management and stakeholders.
• Identify, assess and mitigate risks; manage budgets and variation orders for cost-effectiveness.
• Maintain stakeholder alignment and resolve project-related conflicts.

Education

Professional certification in Architecture/Building/Project Management/Engineering or equivalent

Tier 2 Lead certification (DDM) or equivalent recognized by PA
