The People's Association is seeking an Assistant Director (Building) to lead planning, design, and construction management for Community Club/Centre projects. You will drive delivery excellence across the full lifecycle, mentor a team of project managers, and ensure governance, cost management, and safety standards are upheld to deliver resilient community spaces.

Assistant Director (Building) leads the planning, design, and construction management of new and upgrading Community Club/Centre projects and other PA development works, ensuring that community spaces are safe, functional, and conducive for residents to meet and bond. The role drives project delivery excellence across the full project lifecycle whilst mentoring a team of project managers to build technical and leadership capabilities. Through rigorous governance, stakeholder engagement, and cost management, the role contributes directly to PA's mission of fostering social cohesion and community bonding.
Education/Qualifications:
Minimum - Professional Certification in Architecture, Building or Project Management or Engineering or equivalent.
Desired - Additional Tier 2: Lead certification or higher from Digital Delivery Management (DDM) Accreditation Scheme by building SMART Singapore, or equivalent certification recognised by PA, together with relevant practical experience as determined by PA.
Experience:
Minimum - 10 years working experience in related infrastructure/ building field with good knowledge of architectural design, space planning, project management, building regulations, construction
Desired - More than 12 years of working experience in a related infrastructure or building field with good knowledge of architectural design, space planning, project management, building regulations, and construction.
