HITACHI PLANT SERVICES CO., LTD. in Singapore is seeking a capable Engineer to coordinate with clients, supervise work, and ensure quality, safety and schedule adherence in M&E projects.

The role requires 3–5 years of M&E experience in ACMV/HVAC service and maintenance, strong knowledge of drawings and local codes, and the ability to work with subcontractors and internal teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of M&E experience in ACMV/HVAC service and maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of M&E details, drawings, and local construction practices.
• Familiar with local codes and regulations.
• Team player, analytical, and problem-solver.
• Timely submission.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with all levels of management.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other IT software.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with clients to supervise work per laws and regulations.
• Understand design objectives, systems and budgets.
• Coordinate with suppliers/sub-contractors for tender quotes.
• Check equipment/material compliance with specs and drawings.
• Prepare weekly work schedules and documents.
• Ensure proper execution of temporary works.
• Supervise workers and sub-contractors to meet quality, time, cost, and safety.
• Oversee junior supervisors under charge.
• Keep daily work records and claims.
• Prepare progress reports to consultants and owners.
• Handle ad-hoc project assignments.
