Job summary

PVH (Tommy Hilfiger/Calvin Klein) in Singapore is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to coordinate M&E services on complex architectural projects. You will design electrical systems, drafts for lighting and power, prepare BOQ estimates, perform take-offs, and manage on-site inspections and reporting under pressure.

The role requires strong AutoCAD skills, ability to work independently, and effective coordination with clients and subcontractors to ensure timely project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate M&E services with other Architectural / Consultant work including M&E domestic subcontract work and all necessary building and structure works.
• Design Electrical System, Drafting for Lighting, Power, Piping Layout, Tray & Trucking and Single Line Diagram
• Calculation Load & Estimating for Electrical requirement materials
• Estimating the B.O.Q of installation materials for Project and Calculator of the Material and Labour Cost
• Job site visiting
• Responsible for taking-offs, filing variations, conducting measurements
• Handles contract administration and settlement of final accounts with clients ; sub-contractors
• Responsible for general on-site technical and engineering matters
• Site work co-ordination with client, suppliers & subcontractors
• Prepare monthly progress report and technical proposals
• Plan the construction operations according to Project Management Plan
• Conduct inspections and checking on site works
• Attend site meetings
• Good Skill in using of AutoCAD
• Ability to learn and adapt new procedures quickly
• Can work independently as well and accomplish reports in time even under pressure
