Job summary

Megabuilders & Development Pte Ltd is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to assist the Project Manager in daily site management in Singapore. You will supervise labour and subcontractors, and liaise with authorities, clients, and consultants to ensure compliance with drawings and specifications.

The role requires a minimum of 8 years in Civil/Construction/Structural engineering, meticulousness, and strong teamwork. Candidates must handle multi-tasking and tight schedules effectively.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant working experience.
• Senior roles require specialization in Civil/Construction/Structural engineering.
• Meticulous and responsible with good attention to detail.
• Positive personality and good team player.
• Able to multi-task and work within tight schedules.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Manager with day-to-day site management.
• Supervise site labour force and subcontractors.
• Liaise with authorities, client representatives, sub-contractors and consultants.
• Ensure plans and works align with drawings, specs and design.
• Lead structural inspection activities on site.
• Coordinate pre-inspection with subcontractors for RE/RTO inspections.
• Resolve technical issues encountered on site.
