Job summary

Progressive Builders Private Limited in Singapore is seeking a Project Engineer with a civil/structural background to plan and schedule work sequences for construction operations, and to liaise with consultants on design analysis and design approvals on site.

You will coordinate with clients on design submissions, conduct site inspections, ensure work meets project drawings and contractual requirements, and uphold environmental, safety and health practices.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, Building / Construction Management.
• At least 5 years of related experience.
• Strong ability to manage design submissions.
• Able to lead sub-contractors and work with teams.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule work sequences for civil construction per Project Management Plan.
• Liaise with consultants on design analysis, design work, design check for approval and to resolve on-site technical issues.
• Liaise with client on design submission and supervise work progress on site.
• Site inspections for civil work to ensure execution per project drawings and authorities’ approved drawings.
• Ensure work meets quality standards and contractual requirements.
• Ensure Environmental, Safety and Health practices are carried out effectively.
• Provide training for project engineers to advance toward senior project management roles.
