Job summary

ENGIE RCS PTE. LTD. Singapore is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to drive the delivery of Data Centre construction projects from design coordination through site execution and project completion.

You will coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams, review drawings, and coordinate BIM, electrical systems, and IFC drawings. The role requires a Diploma or Degree with at least 5 years in construction and experience with Procore; knowledge of MS Project and BIM is

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in construction project delivery.
• Experience in Data Centre projects is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, site supervision, and QA/QC processes.
• Experience with Procore; familiarity with MS Project is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and executing project activities.
• Oversee site works to ensure compliance with project schedules, specifications, quality standards, and ESH requirements.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions where required.
• Review project specifications, drawings, method statements, risk assessments, and technical submissions.
• Attend design coordination meetings with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
• Coordinate with the BIM team to update electrical drawings, containment, power, lighting layouts, and SLDs.
• Support the timely issuance of IFC drawings for construction.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, QA/QC records, inspection reports, and monthly progress reports.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure works are delivered to the required quality standards.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and authorities on project-related matters.
• Assist in resolving technical and site issues, as well as verifying subcontractor progress claims.

What We're Looking For

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in construction project delivery.

• Experience in Data Centre projects is highly preferred.

• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, site supervision, project coordination, and QA/QC processes.

• Experience with Procore; familiarity with MS Project is advantageous.

• Knowledge of BIM coordination and electrical systems/design drawings is preferred.

• Candidates with Electrical trade experience in Data Centre construction environments will have an advantage.
