Job summary

Infrastructure & Facility Services Pte. Ltd. in Singapore is seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer to independently manage multiple M&E projects end-to-end, from scope development to delivery, ensuring budget and schedules.

You will lead planning, review technical designs, approve safety plans, mentor juniors, and coordinate with clients and subcontractors. Fluency in English and strong leadership are required.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 5-8 years' experience managing M&E projects in construction (semiconductor, pharmaceutical, or subcontracting).
• Strong knowledge of M&E systems, construction contracts, and commercial terms.
• Proficient in MS Office, project scheduling software, and ACAD/BIM operations.
• Demonstrated leadership and mentoring experience managing project teams and subcontractors.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with confidence engaging clients and senior management.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage multiple concurrent M&E projects end-to-end.

• Mentor junior Project Engineers, Site Supervisors & Workers to ensure safe and timely milestone completion.
• Ensure timely submission of progress claims, supporting variation claims where required.
• Support business development through client engagement and input into tenders/proposals.

Job description

Key Responsibilities:

• Independently manage multiple concurrent M&E projects end-to-end — from scope development, subcontracts, and customer proposals through to budget control, cost risk management, and timely delivery.




• Lead project planning and scheduling, forecasting engineering activities and procurement needs to ensure projects stay on track.




• Review and sign off on technical design documents (drawings, data sheets, BOMs, subcontractor SOWs) and oversee detailed design work, including equipment selection and duct/pipe sizing, guiding the drafting team on construction and shop drawings.




• Approve method statements, risk assessments and Safe Work Procedures, and oversee site inspections to ensure compliance with design, quality, and safety standards.




• Serve as senior technical authority for resolving complex M&E issues and evaluating subcontractor/equipment proposals.




• Lead stakeholder coordination across clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams, escalating critical issues as needed.




• Mentor junior Project Engineers, Site Supervisors & Workers to ensure safe and timely project schedule milestone completion.




• Ensure timely submission of progress claims, supporting variation claims where required.




• Support business development through client engagement and input into tenders/proposals.

Requirements:
