Job summary

Recruit Now Singapore Pte Ltd, a one-stop lighting solutions provider with over 65 years of experience, invites qualified candidates to fill the position of Senior Project Engineer in Singapore (Ubi).

Responsibilities include coordinating projects from award to completion, monitoring schedules and budgets, liaising with clients and suppliers, attending site meetings, preparing tender submissions and cost estimates, and providing technical support through implementation and DLP.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering/ Electronics Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in the construction industry.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee projects from award to completion, ensuring timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Monitor schedules, progress, quality, and budgets to achieve project objectives.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure smooth project execution.
• Attend site meetings, inspections, and coordination meetings to monitor progress and resolve issues.
• Coordinate material procurement, delivery schedules, installation activities, and project documentation.
• Prepare progress claims, VO quotations, and project completion documentation.
• Prepare tender submissions, quotations, and detailed cost estimates for lighting projects.
• Review tender documents, technical specifications, drawings, and project requirements.
• Source and evaluate products, suppliers, and pricing for cost-effective solutions.
• Prepare technical submissions, compliance documentation, and value engineering proposals to support tender requirements.
• Provide technical consultation and recommend suitable lighting products based on project requirements.
• Provide technical support during implementation, testing, and commissioning, and through the DLP.

Our Client, is a one-stop lighting solutions provider which has over 65 years of lighting manufacturing experience, is inviting qualified candidates to fill the position of Senior Project Engineer.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Coordinate and oversee projects from award through to successful completion, ensuring timely delivery and customer satisfaction.

• Monitor project schedules, progress, quality, and budgets to ensure project objectives are achieved.

• Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure smooth project execution.

• Attend site meetings, inspections, and coordination meetings to monitor progress and resolve project issues.

• Coordinate material procurement, delivery schedules, installation activities, and project documentation.

• Prepare progress claims, variation order (VO) quotations, and project completion documentation.

• Prepare tender submissions, quotations, and detailed cost estimates for lighting projects.

• Review tender documents, technical specifications, drawings, and project requirements.

• Source and evaluate products, suppliers, and pricing to achieve cost-effective project solutions.

• Prepare technical submissions, compliance documentation, and value engineering proposals to support tender requirements.

• Provide technical consultation and recommend suitable lighting products and solutions based on project requirements.

• Provide technical support during project implementation, testing and commissioning, and throughout the Defects Liability Period (DLP).

REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering/ Electronics Engineering

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in the construction industry.

OTHER INFORMATION

• Location : Ubi

• Working Days/Hours: 5 days, 8.30am-6pm

• Salary: Gross $4000 higher (salary will commensurate according to experience & qualifications)
