Job summary

Exyte Singapore Pte. Ltd. seeks a Project Package Leader to plan, lead, and coordinate cross-functional teams through all design and work packages, ensuring compliance with contract scope, safety, quality, and schedule.

You will act as the primary liaison for stakeholders and drive package definition, documentation control, and commissioning readiness. The role requires a four-year engineering degree and 10+ years in EPFC/CM, or 15+ years without a degree, with semiconductor project experience

Qualifications

• OSHA 30 certification required.
• Experience with multiple construction delivery methods (engineering, design/build, EPC, EPCM, CM).
• Accredited four-year degree in engineering field and ten years of work-related experience; or, without a degree, 15+ years equivalent project site experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage cross-functional Package Team through project completion.
• Primary point-of-contact for all stakeholders regarding the Design Package and related Work Packages.
• Define all Package Scope in detail and ensure alignment with design intent.
• Coordinate development and changes to Package documents with System Engineers and other Package Owners.
• Track Package progress and lead weekly updates in the Project database/controls platforms.
• Oversee Submittal/ Shop Drawing review and approvals.
• Manage site inspections, punch lists, tagging, and closeout activities.
• Ensure handover to client and review of deliverables for commissioning and client acceptance.

Job description

Role Purpose:
In general, this role shall plan and perform work requiring sound technical judgment in the evaluation, organization, and execution of project management assignments. This role has the responsibility to perform the essential job duties and functions as listed below with the overall objective of managing and/or coordinating project activities that are in compliance with the contract and ensure the safety, quality, value, timeliness, and profitability of the completed project. Performing assigned general duties of limited scope and level of responsibility, this position is designed to develop broader project management knowledge and experience. At this level, the role may have the responsibility as the only Package Owner on a small size project with full accountability for the general duties, or the responsibility for general duties on a larger or more complex segment of a very large project.

Job Responsibility:

• Lead and manage cross-functional Package Team in all aspects of a Package (both Design Package and the related Work Packages) through project completion.
• Primary point-of-contact for all stakeholders regarding all matters related to the Design Package and related Work Packages
• Lead the detailed assignment / definition all Package Scope
• Managing the development of, and changes to, Package-related documents in coordination with System Engineers and other Package Owners
• Track and manage Package progress, including leading weekly updates of Package-specific data in Project database / controls platforms
• Submittal / Shop Drawing review,and inspection approvals
• Primary Point-of-Contact for Sub-contractor
• Represent the Package in Commissioning Core Team Meetings, and oversee the Pkg. Team's involvement in System Commissioning procedures
• Manage the FMCS updating of Sequence of Operation (SOO) documents per design intent and actual condition, including review and approval by the client.
• Arrange and manage Package site inspections, Punchlists, System Tagging (OT, GT, BT).
• Collect and submit all Package documentation to System Commissioning Lead and System Engineer, including but not limited to As-built documentation, and Operation and Maintenance Manuals
• Oversee the Pkg. Team's involvement in Closeout procedure for the Package.
• Ensure that all Sub-contractor deliverables are reviewed and accepted prior to project closeout.
• Manage the System / Package handover to client

Job Requirements:

• OSHA 30
• Experience with multiple construction delivery methods (engineering, design/build, EPC, EPCM, CM)
• Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in engineering field of study and ten (10) years of work-related experience; a recognized professional certification or registration in the applicable field, if required; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements.
• OR without a degree, 15+ years equivalent project site experience on Semi and/or Pharmaceutical type projects
• Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors.
• Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
• Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines.
• Abilityto attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner.
• Ten (10) years of experience in engineering, procurement, fabrication, and construction/construction management (EPFC/CM) industry including the performance of functional tasks on projects with a well-developed understanding of procedures and interfaces
• Experience participating in risk assessments initiatives.
