Qualifications

Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
Minimum 15 years of experience in engineering, construction, infrastructure, industrial, mission-critical, or large-scale project environments.
Proven track record leading multiple projects and managing diverse project teams.
Strong commercial, financial, and contractual management experience.
Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to drive project performance, business objectives, and operational excellence.
Experience within mission-critical, industrial, infrastructure, hyperscale, or large-scale engineering projects is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide overall leadership and governance across multiple engineering and construction projects, ensuring successful delivery from project award through commissioning, handover, and close-out.
Develop and implement project execution strategies, ensuring alignment with business objectives, contractual commitments, safety requirements, quality standards, budget targets, and project schedules.
Oversee project performance, resource allocation, financial management, procurement activities, risk mitigation, and operational delivery to achieve key project milestones and profitability objectives.
Lead and mentor Project Managers and project teams, fostering a high-performance culture focused on accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and professional development.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and key stakeholders, serving as a senior point of contact for project-related matters and strategic discussions.
Provide guidance and support on technical, operational, commercial, and contractual challenges while ensuring effective decision-making across project teams.
Monitor project budgets, forecasts, variations, claims, and change management activities to optimize financial performance and mitigate commercial risk.
Champion best practices in project delivery, engineering coordination, procurement, construction management, testing, commissioning, and project controls.
Drive a strong safety-first culture across all projects, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations, company policies, client requirements, and quality management standards.
Support business growth initiatives through client engagement, stakeholder relationship management, and identification of future project opportunities.
Develop leadership capability within the organization through succession planning, coaching, mentoring, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
