Job summary

Joyous Heart Senior Department at KONG MENG SAN PHOR KARK SEE MONASTERY in Singapore is seeking a motivated team member to support planning, coordination, and delivery of programmes for senior members. You will work with volunteers to ensure smooth implementation of activities and support the Befriend Programme and Monastery events.

The role requires a Diploma or above and ideally 1 year of experience with seniors or in community outreach.

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher in a relevant field.
• 1 year of experience with seniors or in community outreach preferred.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin; conversant in dialects to connect with seniors.
• Strong communication, coordination and organizational abilities.
• Willing to work on weekends, public holidays, or irregular hours.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and evaluate activities, services and outreach for seniors.
• Coordinate with volunteers to ensure smooth programme delivery.
• Support Befriend Programme (home visits, needs assessment) and Monastery events.
• Involve in Monastery events.
