Job summary

WECRUIT PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a production planning professional to lead forecasting and capacity planning across demand and supply. You will develop and manage production schedules to optimise resource utilisation and ensure on-time delivery.

You will work with Project Leaders, Planners and Supervisors to prioritise activities, oversee material planning, BOM maintenance and approved design changes, and coordinate with Purchasing to align material requirements with delivery schedules.

Responsibilities

• Lead production forecasting and planning activities based on demand, production capacity, material availability and business requirements.
• Develop and manage production schedules to optimise resource utilisation and support on-time delivery.
• Work closely with Project Leaders, Planners and Production Supervisors to prioritise production activities according to delivery requirements and operational capacity.
• Oversee material planning, material requisitions, BOM maintenance and the implementation of approved engineering or design changes.
• Evaluate material availability and production capability when confirming orders and establishing realistic production commitments.
• Collaborate with Purchasing to coordinate material requirements and delivery schedules while managing inventory levels effectively.
• Monitor material supply and proactively identify risks that could impact production continuity, delivery schedules or operational efficiency.
• Prepare and monitor periodic E&O and buy-down claim reports, ensuring relevant information is accurate and available on a timely basis.
• Ensure production orders are completed and closed within the required timeframe to facilitate accurate invoicing and financial reporting.
• Provide timely management information, ad-hoc reports and data analysis to support cross-functional planning and decision-making.
