Job summary

WECRUIT PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a Production Planner responsible for forecasting, scheduling, and coordinating manufacturing activities to meet delivery timelines.

The role collaborates with project leaders, planners and supervisors to set priorities aligned with schedules and delivery commitments. It involves managing BOMs, material availability, and coordinating purchases to maintain inventory while supporting operational decisions with data analyses and period reports for management

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production forecasts based on demand requirements, capacity and available resources.
• Plan and schedule production orders to meet customer requirements and agreed delivery timelines.
• Coordinate with Project Leaders, Planners and Production Supervisors to establish work priorities in line with production schedules and delivery commitments.
• Manage material and production planning activities, including material requisitions and the maintenance of Bills of Materials (BOMs) and implementation of approved design changes.
• Review material availability and production capacity to confirm customer orders and committed production schedules.
• Coordinate with Purchasing to plan and monitor material deliveries, ensuring sufficient supply while maintaining appropriate inventory levels.
• Monitor material availability and identify potential shortages or supply constraints that may affect production continuity.
• Prepare and submit periodic reports, including Excess & Obsolete (E&O) inventory and buy-down claims, as required.
• Monitor production order status and ensure timely closure to support accurate and timely invoicing.
• Prepare ad-hoc reports and provide data analysis for Management and cross-functional teams to support operational and business decision-making.
