Job summary

alwayshired pte. ltd. in Singapore seeks an experienced Production Manager to oversee operations in Tampines and drive output, quality and delivery. You will lead daily meetings, monitor KPIs, manage resources, and promote a culture of continuous improvement.

The role requires a degree in engineering, at least 5 years in a server, rack, or manufacturing environment, and strong knowledge of DMAIC methodology. Strong leadership and communication are essential in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a server, rack or manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and DMAIC methodology.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Able to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production meetings covering output, production plans, materials, quality and corrective actions.
• Monitor key production KPIs including WIP, output, quality, capacity, manpower and material status.
• Manage production resources, manpower and staffing requirements to meet operational needs.
• Set and monitor production and quality targets to ensure performance objectives are achieved.
• Lead, motivate and develop production teams while maintaining a positive and disciplined work environment.
• Coordinate training and development programs to enhance staff skills, certifications and productivity.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, ISO 9000/14000, safety and workplace requirements.
• Work closely with Engineering, Materials, Quality and Maintenance teams to resolve production issues.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, quality, flexibility and processes.
• Oversee equipment and tooling requirements, including maintenance, calibration and certification.
