Job summary

adonis beauty consultants pte ltd seeks a Senior Production Executive (Team Lead) to manage daily production operations, lead a small team and drive process improvements in a beauty manufacturing setting in Singapore.

You will ensure GMP compliance, maintain documentation, and coordinate with suppliers and logistics to meet deadlines while upholding quality standards. Career progression to Assistant Production Manager may be possible based on performance.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Manufacturing, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, Pharmaceutical Science, Business Management or a related discipline.
• Experience in production or factory operations is welcome.
• Experience in coordinating daily production activities and supervising a small team is preferred.
• Familiarity with GMP, SOPs, production documentation and audit preparation is advantageous.
• Good leadership, organisational, communication and problem-solving skills required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production activities including preparation, filling, packing, labelling and finished goods handling.
• Lead and supervise a production team of about five staff, including work allocation and attendance monitoring.
• Plan and monitor production schedules to ensure on-time orders while maintaining quality and efficiency.
• Develop, review and implement SOPs, workflow processes and internal controls to improve operations.
• Ensure GMP, hygiene, safety and quality standards are followed and documented.
• Maintain production records, batch documentation and inventory reports accurately.
• Coordinate GMP inspections, audits and corrective actions; drive improvements.
• Identify operational issues and implement practical solutions to boost productivity.
• Liaise with suppliers on materials and delivery arrangements.
• Coordinate with logistics providers for local and overseas shipments; handle shipping docs.
• Support regulatory matters, including product notifications and labeling requirements.
• Review ingredients, formulations and specs to support production quality.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization across production, packing and storage areas.
• Provide regular updates and reports to Management on progress and improvements.

Job description

We are an established beauty company with a retail presence across Singapore and are looking for a hands-on and responsible Senior Production Executive (Team Lead) to join our team.

This role combines daily production operations, team supervision and process improvement. You will be responsible for leading a small production team, ensuring smooth and efficient factory operations, maintaining product quality and implementing proper Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), documentation and operational controls.

We are looking for someone who is organised, proactive and comfortable taking ownership of daily operations, with opportunities for career progression to Assistant Production Manager based on individual performance and business needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate daily production activities, including product preparation, filling, packing, labelling and finished goods handling.

• Lead and supervise a production team of approximately five staff, including work allocation, manpower planning, attendance monitoring and daily team coordination.

• Plan and monitor production schedules to ensure timely completion of orders while maintaining product quality and operational efficiency.

• Develop, review, standardise and implement SOPs, workflow processes, operational forms and internal control procedures to improve factory operations.

• Ensure proper implementation of and compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), hygiene, workplace safety, quality standards and company procedures.

• Maintain accurate production records, batch documentation, material usage records, inventory reports and other required operational documentation.

• Monitor raw materials, ingredients, packaging materials and finished goods, including stock levels, batch identification, expiry dates and inventory control.

• Coordinate GMP inspections, internal and external audit preparation, documentation reviews, corrective actions and follow-up improvements.

• Identify operational issues, improve work processes, minimise material wastage and recommend practical solutions to enhance productivity and efficiency.

• Liaise with suppliers on raw materials, ingredients, packaging materials, product specifications, supporting documentation and delivery arrangements.

• Coordinate with logistics providers and freight forwarders on local and overseas shipments, including preparation of relevant shipping documentation.

• Support cosmetic product regulatory matters, including HSA product notifications, product documentation, labelling requirements and other applicable compliance matters.

• Review cosmetic ingredients, product formulations, specifications and relevant technical information to support production quality and operational requirements.

• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, housekeeping and organisation across production, packing and storage areas.

• Provide regular operational updates and reports to Management, including production progress, outstanding matters and improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Manufacturing, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, Pharmaceutical Science, Business Management or a related discipline. Candidates with relevant practical experience in production or factory operations will also be considered.

• Relevant experience in production, manufacturing, factory operations or a similar environment.

• Experience in coordinating daily production activities and supervising a small team is preferred.

• Experience in the beauty, cosmetics, skincare, personal care or related manufacturing industry will be an advantage.

• Good understanding of production planning, inventory control, product quality and factory operations.

• Knowledge of GMP, SOP development, production documentation, quality management systems or audit preparation will be an advantage.

• Good leadership, organisational, communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.

• Able to work independently, take ownership of responsibilities and follow through on operational matters.

• Hands‑on, proactive, adaptable and detail-oriented, with a willingness to support both operational and administrative duties.
