Job summary

Alcon is seeking a Technician III to join the DSM Production Technical Support Team in Singapore. You will handle highly complex tasks to support production operations, set up, operate, maintain and troubleshoot production equipment, and ensure quality standards are met.

The role requires a Diploma/NITEC in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics and a minimum of 2 years' manufacturing maintenance experience, with cleanroom exposure preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma/NITEC in Mechanical /Electrical / Mechatronics Engineering or related field.
• Min 2 years of relevant experience in manufacturing industry in a maintenance/ similar role troubleshooting equipment and machines.
• Experience in cleanroom preferred.
• Able to work office hours Monday to Friday 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM.

Responsibilities

• Handle highly complex technical tasks to support production operations and enhance efficiency.
• Set up, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot production equipment.
• Manage resources and schedules to meet specifications, schedules, and quality standards.
• Monitor output quality to identify and address faulty products.
• Maintain accurate daily production records for performance analysis.
• Make significant decisions within task scope, requiring advanced technical skills.
• Review work orders, schedule resources, and monitor operations for business alignment.
• Adhere to Good Practice (GxP) regulations by following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and maintaining documentation.
• Commit to continuous improvement and regulatory compliance.
