Job summary

Alcon in Singapore's Tuas Plant is seeking a Technician II in Chemical Production. You will manage routine and non-routine formulation operations, ensuring GMP/GxP compliance and accurate documentation.

Ideal candidates hold a NITEC in related fields, with 2+ years manufacturing experience, and are prepared to lift heavy weights. Forklift licence is advantageous. You will contribute to continuous improvement and adhere to SOPs.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing environments with GMP/GDP manufacturing experience.
• Able to lift heavy weights and operate in a GMP/GxP setting.
• Forklift licence is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Handle routine and non-routine chemical formulation processes in production.
• Maintain GMP/GxP documentation and adhere to SOPs.
• Monitor quality using statistical process control or similar methods.
• Support process improvements and deviations investigations as needed.
• Follow SOPs and ensure training and compliance across operations.
• Operate equipment such as pumps, mixers, and tablet machinery where applicable.

Education

NITEC in Chemical Process Technology, Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemical and Life Sciences or equivalent
