Job summary

DV Trading is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to define and ship production-grade agent systems that power firm-wide AI adoption. You will set standards for MCP development, build reference agent applications, and design patterns for connecting agents to internal data sources and APIs.

The role emphasizes security governance in a regulated trading environment and close collaboration with security and business teams.

Qualifications

5+ years of software engineering experience.
Strong Python and production-grade AI systems development.
Experience building/operating LLM-powered agents.
Experience integrating agents with databases, APIs and internal data sources.
Security experience in regulated or sensitive-data environments.
Knowledge of Kubernetes, CI/CD and observability.
Autonomous, with strong communication to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Define firm-wide standards for agent and MCP development.
Build reference agent applications for business teams.
Design patterns for connecting agents to internal databases, APIs, and knowledge sources.
Establish security and governance requirements for AI in a regulated trading environment.
Partner with Security on AI-specific controls (data access, audit, threat detection).
Evaluate and adopt infrastructure for agent deployment and observability.
Partner with stakeholders to identify and deliver high-value use cases.
