Job summary

You will analyze data with rigorous methods and communicate findings to stakeholders. Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s in mechanical engineering and 5+ years in product design, with strong statistics and proficiency in Minitab, MATLAB, or Excel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Strong working knowledge of engineering fundamentals and statistics.
• Experience with Minitab, MATLAB or Excel for data analysis.
• Familiarity with CAD/CAE tools is preferred.
• 5+ years in product design and development or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Identify fundamental factors contributing to performance metrics.
• Utilize modeling tools to optimize or predict performance.
• Analyze experimental tests and data with rigorous technical standards.
• Design tests and test plans to identify and optimize performance.
• Write scripts and use Excel to create predictive models and provide clear recommendations.
• Propose design mitigations to achieve performance targets.
• Collaborate with project teams to deliver optimized product performance.
