Job summary

Thales Group is seeking an experienced Product Owner to drive large-scale ATM systems projects. You will act as the voice of the customer, manage stakeholder relationships, and ensure alignment between the backlog and regulatory obligations.

The role requires strong facilitation, leadership, and SAFe/Agile discipline. You will collaborate with architects and RTEs to plan increments, participate in PI planning, and ensure value delivery through iterative backlogs and demos.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, systems engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years as Product Owner or equivalent in mission-critical or safety-critical systems.
• Strong facilitation, coaching, and conflict resolution skills.

Responsibilities

• Backlog breakdown and ensuring coverage of agile artefacts (stories, tasks).
• Main point of contact for team on functional/technical topics to drive alignment.
• Bridge between agile teams, coordinating with RTEs.
• Collaborate with Architects and RTEs to define Program Increments and participate in PI Planning.
• Prioritize backlog items, articulate acceptance criteria and non-functional requirements.
• Support the team in delivering value and gather user feedback during demos.
