Zusammenfassung

Michael Page Singapore is partnering with a global technology manufacturer to recruit a Product/Manufacturing Engineer focused on full lifecycle engineering for highly engineered systems. You will drive transfer from development to manufacturing, lead quality and reliability initiatives, and work with R&D, manufacturing, quality, supply chain and suppliers to deliver robust solutions.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in product engineering, manufacturing engineering, NPI, or PLM.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles, GD&T, tolerance analysis.
• Experience with fluidics, electromechanical assemblies, or precision instruments is preferred.
• Familiarity with CAD, PLM, Excel, Minitab or JMP for analysis.

Job Description

• Lead product transfer and industrialization activities from development into manufacturing.
• Drive product sustaining initiatives focused on quality, yield improvement, reliability, and cost optimization.
• Conduct engineering evaluations, root cause investigations, and complex troubleshooting activities across mechanical and fluidics systems.
• Utilize statistical methodologies including DOE, FMEA, SPC, and data analytics to improve manufacturing and product performance.
• Support design validation, reliability testing, system characterization, and engineering change management processes.
• Collaborate closely with R&D, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and supplier partners to ensure successful product outcomes.
• Mentor junior engineers while championing best practices in technical problem-solving and engineering excellence.

The Successful Applicant

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience in product engineering, manufacturing engineering, NPI, or product lifecycle management.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles, GD&T, tolerance analysis, DFMA, and reliability engineering.
• Experience supporting complex systems involving fluidics, electromechanical assemblies, or precision instruments.
• Hands-on knowledge of pumps, valves, sensors, manifolds, tubing, flow control systems, or related fluid handling technologies.
• Familiarity with engineering tools such as CAD, PLM systems, Excel, Minitab, JMP, or equivalent analytical software.
• Experience applying structured problem-solving methodologies including DOE, FMEA, SPC, 8D, or KT processes.
• Understanding of regulated product development environments and engineering change control processes.
• Proven ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams and influence stakeholders through data-driven recommendations.
• Experience in product characterization, verification testing, reliability assessments, and manufacturing support activities.
