Job summary

Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) is seeking a product engineering/program management professional to lead multi-functional activities from pre-silicon planning through high-volume manufacturing. You will mentor junior engineers, drive deliverables, manage budgets and coordinate across dispersed teams to meet project goals.

The role requires strong communication, knowledge of automation and ATE testing, plus scripting skills (Python/Tcl/Perl).

Qualifications

• Background in Product Engineering or Program Management
• Strong communication across distributed teams
• Understanding of automation flow and statistical analysis
• Basic knowledge of ATE testing and NPI process
• Scripting skills in Python, Tcl or Perl
• PMI/SCRUM/AGILE/ISO9000 certificates are a plus

Responsibilities

• Receive objectives and plan to meet goals
• Communicate status to management
• Guide junior engineers in ATE testing and data analysis
• Define and manage deliverables and schedules
• Manage budgets, contracts, PO and invoices
• Drive pre-silicon planning and hardware/software purchasing
• Prepare for high-volume manufacturing readiness
• Collaborate with IPs and system teams on requirements
• Create automation flows and scripts for efficiency
• Work with cross-functional teams to resolve issues
