Job summary

Sciente Consulting is seeking an experienced Senior Product Designer to lead end-to-end design of complex digital products and user journeys, collaborating with Product Managers, Business Analysts, engineers and stakeholders to craft intuitive, scalable, and user-focused digital experiences.

The role requires a strong portfolio, 5+ years in Product Design/UI/UX, proficiency in Figma, hands-on user research, journey mapping, prototyping and usability testing within Agile teams.

Qualifications

• Must have 5+ years in Product Design / UI/UX / Interaction Design.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product design experience.
• Proficiency in design tools (Figma or equivalent).
• Hands-on experience in user research, journey mapping, wireframing, prototyping, usability testing, and UI design.
• Strong understanding of user-centred design, usability, accessibility, and responsive design.
• Experience working in Agile environments with Product, BA, and Engineering teams.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end product design from research to prototyping, UI design, testing and implementation.
• Translate business goals and user needs into simple, scalable product experiences.
• Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, interaction designs, and high-fidelity UI designs.
• Conduct user research and usability testing; apply insights to improve product experiences.
• Develop and maintain design systems, reusable components, and UX/UI standards.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, BAs, engineers, and stakeholders to shape requirements and solutions.
• Facilitate design workshops, ideation sessions, and journey mapping activities.
• Support Agile delivery through design reviews, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and implementation discussions.
• Work with engineers to ensure designs are implemented accurately and reviewed for quality.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Product Designer to lead the end-to-end design of complex digital products and user journeys. You will work closely with Product Managers, Business Analysts, engineers, and stakeholders to create intuitive, scalable, and user-focused digital experiences.

Mandatory Skill-set

• Degree in Design, HCI, Computer Science, Digital Media, or related discipline;
• Must have 5+ years of relevant experience in Product Design / UI/UX / Interaction Design;
• Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product design experience;
• Proficiency in Figma or equivalent design tools;
• Hands-on experience in user research, journey mapping, wireframing, prototyping, usability testing, and UI design;
• Strong understanding of user-centred design, usability, accessibility, and responsive design;
• Experience working in Agile environments with Product, BA, and Engineering teams;
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Desired Skill-set

• Familiarity with React, Tailwind CSS, or other front-end technologies;
• Experience with design systems, reusable components, and UX/UI standards;
• Experience mentoring junior designers;
• Experience designing complex digital products, enterprise systems, or operational workflows.
