Argyll Scott Asia is seeking a Product Design Manager to lead complex design engagements, maintain high standards of design quality and develop a team of designers. The role combines hands-on product design, people management, client engagement and contributions to the growth of the design practice.

The position emphasizes managing design delivery, mentoring staff, collaborating with cross‑functional teams and advancing design systems and AI-enabled workflows for productivity and impact.

Formación

• Approximately 8+ years of experience in product or UX design with 2–3 years in senior or leadership roles.
• Tertiary qualification in a design-related discipline and a strong design portfolio.
• Experience leading complex design initiatives across enterprise, B2B or B2C environments, preferably in consultancy or client-facing delivery.
• Proven ability to mentor, coach and develop designers; able to recruit and grow teams.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and oversee product design delivery across multiple client engagements, ensuring quality and timely execution.
• Remain hands-on while guiding design work, contributing to UX, interaction, visual design and design-system initiatives.
• Mentor and develop designers through coaching and ongoing feedback.
• Support team expansion through recruitment, planning and allocation of designers.
• Establish design standards, reusable frameworks, processes and documentation.
• Collaborate with product management, strategy and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Explore and implement AI-enabled design workflows and prototyping tools to improve productivity.
• Build and maintain client relationships, contribute to proposals and business development.
• Contribute to knowledge-sharing and design community activities.
