Job summary

ARGYLL SCOTT CONSULTING PTE. LTD. is seeking a Product Design Manager in Singapore to lead complex engagements, mentor designers and shape the design practice. The role blends hands-on product design with people management, client engagement and strategic growth initiatives.

Ideal candidates will drive design quality, establish standards and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions, including exploring AI-enabled workflows and scalable design systems.

Qualifications

• Approximately 8+ years of experience in product design or UX design, including 2-3 years in a senior design practitioner or leadership capacity.
• Tertiary qualification in a design-related discipline.
• Strong hands-on product design capabilities with a portfolio demonstrating visual and interaction design, UX problem-solving, systems thinking and measurable outcomes.
• Experience leading complex product design initiatives across enterprise, B2B or B2C environments in consultancy or client-facing delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee design delivery across multiple client engagements.
• Hands-on design work, guiding complex UX, interaction and visual design and design system initiatives.
• Mentor designers through coaching, feedback and ongoing professional growth.
• Support recruitment, resource planning and allocation of designers across client projects.
• Establish design standards, reusable frameworks, processes and documentation for consistency.
• Collaborate with product management, strategy and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver integrated solutions.
• Explore and implement AI-enabled design workflows and prototyping tools to improve productivity.
• Build and maintain client relationships, contribute to proposals and business development.
• Contribute to design knowledge-sharing and community activities through mentoring or presentations.
