Job summary

Schneider Electric is searching for a Senior Product Applications Engineer to design power product solutions that meet customer needs and drive business growth. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders, support sales with technically robust proposals, and participate in pre-sales activities with partners and end users.

Qualifications

• Requires Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related engineering degree.
• Proficient in spoken and written English; strong communication for customer-facing and internal interactions.
• Ability to translate customer requirements into practical engineering solutions and communicate complex concepts clearly.
• Proactive, self-motivated and able to take initiative; high level of business acumen.

Responsibilities

• Sales Opportunity Pursuit: Work with sales to develop and deliver technical solutions that address customer pain points and opportunities.
• Pre-Sales Leadership: Lead in pre-sales activities with panel builders, consultants and end users, including research, presentations, demonstrations, proposals, solution optimization, and defining high-level architectures for accounts.
• Technical Support: Provide technical support for product selection, specification compliance, discrimination studies, and fault current calculations.
• Post-Sales Support: Deliver technical expertise during installation, testing and commissioning through root cause analysis and on-site support.
• Training & Knowledge Sharing: Conduct product knowledge sessions and technical training for external and internal stakeholders.
