Job summary

SLNG - Singapore LNG Corporation Pte Ltd is seeking a Lead/Senior Process Safety Engineer to head the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of process safety programs for LNG facilities in Singapore. The role provides technical leadership in risk management, regulatory compliance, and major hazard control.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in process safety within high-hazard industries (Oil & Gas, LNG, Hydrogen, chemicals).
• Experience leading HAZOP/PHA studies and SIL/LOPA assessments.
• Strong knowledge of PSM/RMP regulations, IEC 61511, API 750/754, and related standards.
• PE license or Chartered status preferred; CCPSC or similar credential a plus.
• Exposure to Singapore agencies (MHD, NEA, MPA) is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead and drive Process Hazard Analyses (PHA/HAZID/HAZOP) and risk studies.
• Own and continuously improve the site's PSM program in alignment with OSHA/agency requirements.
• Establish and govern PSI, PFDs, P&IDs, relief designs, control narratives, and safety specs.
• Lead incident investigations, track safety KPIs, and drive corrective actions.
• Support MOC processes; manage MAH barrier performance and assurance.
• Plan audits, inspections, and MI programs for safety-critical equipment.
• Mentor engineers, operators, and maintenance staff; embed safety into FEED and projects.
• Lead PSSR, ORR, and stage-gate reviews; communicate safety risks to leadership.
