Job summary

Vanguard International Semiconductor Corporation (VIS) is seeking a Process Engineer to optimize production processes in a wafer fabrication environment. You will analyze SPC charts, monitor Cp/Cpk, and implement improvements to reduce OOC and improve yield across modules.

You will lead process and equipment qualification, collaborate with Equipment and Manufacturing teams, and ensure compliance with TS16949 standards while maintaining safety and high housekeeping standards.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, microelectronics, chemical processes or related fields.
• Min 2 years of relevant work experience in Thin Film CVD processes.
• Excellent teamwork, communication and written skills.
• Strong leadership to guide junior engineers.
• Analytical thinking with good problem-solving ability.
• Proactive, accountable and able to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Analyse and optimise production processes to meet objectives.
• Analyse SPC charts, monitor Cp/Cpk, and drive improvements.
• Lead process and equipment debugging with cross-functional teams.
• Setup and troubleshoot recipes across metrology tools.
• Drive CIP programs to improve window, cost, yield and productivity.
• Audit specifications and maintain TS16949 quality standards.
