Job summary

Amaris Consulting is seeking a Life Sciences Process Engineer in Singapore to provide process engineering support for pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical manufacturing. You will contribute to equipment design, qualification, troubleshooting, automation changes and continuous improvement to ensure safe and reliable site operations.

You will develop process designs, URS, P&ID, risk assessments, participate in design reviews and HAZOP, and lead change controls and validation activities.

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
• 5–8 years in process engineering within regulated manufacturing.
• Experience with process design, P&ID, URS, risk assessments, design reviews, and HAZOP.
• Knowledge of CIP, SIP, washers, autoclaves and related systems.
• Experience with change controls, deviations, investigations and CAPAs.
• Ability to collaborate with MS&T, Automation, Manufacturing, Quality, Validation and Engineering teams.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, documentation and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop process designs, P&IDs, URS, SRA, FRA, and other engineering docs.
• Participate in design reviews, qualification activities, and HAZOPs.
• Generate, review, and maintain process engineering docs.
• Support FAT, SAT, IQ, OQ, PQ, qualification and requalification activities.
• Lead process engineering change controls, deviations and CAPAs.
• Own process systems and equipment including SIP/CIP, washers and autoclaves.
• Provide independent technical support for safe and reliable operations.
• Lead improvements on equipment performance, yield, and cycle-time reduction.
• Act as link between MS&T and Automation teams.
• Translate process requirements into automation modules, recipes, and parameters.
• Support recipe testing and system changes with Automation teams.
