Job summary

Amaris Consulting is seeking a Senior Process Engineer to join our Life Sciences team in a pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical manufacturing setting. You will design processes, URS, P&IDs, and risk assessments, support validations, and drive improvements across equipment and operations.

You will collaborate with MS&T, Automation, Manufacturing, Quality, and Validation teams, ensuring safe, reliable site operations while leading change controls and CAPAs.

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
• 5–8 years' process engineering experience in pharma/biopharma.
• Experience with P&ID, URS, risk assessments, design reviews, and HAZOP.
• Familiar with FAT, SAT, IQ, OQ, PQ and requalification.
• Knowledge of CIP/SIP, washers, autoclaves, or similar systems.
• Experience managing change controls, deviations, investigations, and CAPAs.

Responsibilities

• Develop process designs, P&IDs, URS, SRA, FRA, and other engineering docs.
• Participate in design reviews, design qualification activities, and HAZOP studies.
• Generate, review, and maintain process engineering documentation.
• Support FAT, SAT, IQ, OQ, PQ, qualification, requalification, and validation activities.
• Lead change controls, deviations, and CAPAs for process engineering.
• Own process systems and equipment including SIP, CIP, washers, and autoclaves.
• Provide independent technical support for safe, reliable operations.
• Lead improvements on equipment performance, yield, and cycle time.
