Job summary

STATS CHIPPAC MANAGEMENT PTE. LTD. seeks an engineer to support production lines with process buy-off, lot disposition, and troubleshooting. The role involves OCAP adherence, documentation, and cross-shift issue containment, ensuring orderly line health and quality compliance.

The candidate will participate in NPI activities, process optimization, and DOE-based improvements, leveraging JMP, 8D, FMEA, and DOE methodologies as applicable. A diploma in microelectronics or related fields is required.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Microelectronics or related engineering field.
• Experience with WLCSP backend processes (taping, back grind, laser mark, tape and reel).
• Knowledge of JMP, 8D, FMEA and DOE methodologies is advantageous.
• Independent self-starter with ability to meet operating goals.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support for process buy-off, lot disposition, and troubleshooting.
• Ensure line execution follows procedures and OCAP guidelines.
• Facilitate pass-down and follow-through of issues across shifts.
• Assist PE with NPI activities, DOE, process improvement and cost reduction.
