Job summary

Beyonics International PTE. LTD. is seeking a skilled engineer to drive productivity and quality improvements in plastic injection molding.

The candidate will lead capability studies, prepare process instructions, and troubleshoot moulding-related issues in production and testing environments. Requirements include a degree or diploma in an engineering discipline and at least 3 years of experience in plastic injection molding, preferably in medical or automotive industries.

Qualifications

• Degree/ Diploma in Engineering- related Discipline, preferably in Polymer and Plastic Technology, Mechanical.
• Experience in Plastic injection Molding is required, preferably in Medical and Automotive industries (minimum 3 years).

Responsibilities

• Initiate and implement productivity programs for the plant.
• Process improvement through capability studies.
• Preparation of process instruction.
• Fault finding and troubleshooting of process / tooling-related problems during production and testing.
• Participates in company’s overall quality and process goals.
• Initiate and conduct the test of new or modified mould and determine optimum machine settings or optimal process cycle.
• Achieve company’s productivity improvement objective in-house quality & process goals.
• Oversees tooling for new products.
• Participate and recommendsolutions to moulding problems related to moulds.
• Initiate engineering change.
• Implementation of mould preventive maintenance programs.
• Track movement of moulds and collaborate with Production Department.
• Coordinate and keep track of service record of moulds.
